Tsoi Wall

The Tsoi Wall in Minsk is a symbolic memorial dedicated to the legendary Soviet rock musician Viktor Tsoi and his band "Kino". This monument is located in Lyakhovsky Square, near the "Pervomayskaya" metro station and the "Dinamo" stadium. The history of the Tsoi Wall began in 1990, shortly after the musician's death, when his fans started leaving inscriptions, quotes from songs, and drawings on the concrete slabs that fenced off the construction site of the Palace of the Republic on October Square. Initially, the Tsoi Wall was located precisely at this place, but after the construction of the Palace of the Republic was completed in 1997, the slabs were moved to Internatsionalnaya Street. In 2008, the memorial was moved again—this time to Lyakhovsky Square, where it remains to this day. It's important to note that copies of Viktor Tsoi's own drawings have been preserved on the reverse side of the slabs, which adds even greater significance to this place for fans of his work. The wall regularly attracts fans, especially on June 21, Viktor Tsoi's birthday, when people gather here to sing his songs and leave new messages. In 2021, the wall gained a digital extension thanks to augmented reality (AR) technology developed by InetEvolution. Now, with the ARWALL app, you can bring Viktor Tsoi's images on the wall to life, seeing them with music and sounds, making a visit to the memorial even more interactive and captivating. The Tsoi Memorial in Minsk is not just a symbol of an era, it is a place where the memory of a great musician continues to live, uniting fans of his work and allowing them to express their devotion and respect for the music that touched the hearts of millions.
