In Novaya Borovaya, at Nikolaya Kamova, 15, a new school №2 (also known as the School of Talents) has opened, which has already attracted attention thanks to its modern approach to education and unique sports facilities. One of the school's main "highlights" is the pump track — a bicycle track, the likes of which no other school in Belarus has.

What is a pump track, and why is it unique?

Pump track is a special track for cycling, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblading, consisting of alternating bumps, dips, and banked turns. It is not just a smooth path, but a place to hone control, balancing, and coordination skills. It is important to note that the track at school №2 is designed with different age groups in mind: there are separate sections for younger students and more challenging ones for older students. This makes riding safe and accessible for children of different ages and skill levels.

Safety first

Special attention is given to safety at the school: riding on the pump track is only allowed with protective helmets, which helps minimize the risk of injuries. This important condition instills trust in both parents and the children themselves. According to the school's principal, safety was one of the main priorities when designing the entire sports zone.

Pump track — a place of attraction for children

The appearance of such a track is a big event not only for the school itself but for the whole district. It’s hard to find a child who wouldn’t want to ride on such a track. Considering that no other school in the country has such a facility, it’s expected that children from other districts of Minsk may come here to ride. This makes school №2 a real center for active recreation and sports in Novaya Borovaya.

Workout area and other sports zones

In addition to the pump track, the school also features a modern workout area. There are exercise equipment stations for outdoor workouts. This area is suitable for physical education classes during lessons and for free training sessions for students after school. The workout area is a great addition to the pump track, creating conditions for comprehensive active leisure on the school grounds.

School of the future

The modern infrastructure of school №2 in Novaya Borovaya is not only about quality education but also about caring for children's physical development. The unique pump track, convenient sports zones, and thoughtful approach to safety make the school a special place where students want to come not only for classes but also for active recreation. Thus, the School of Talents (school №2) has become not just an educational institution, but a place where children can safely and enjoyably spend time outdoors, engage in sports, and develop physically.
