Singing Fountains on the Svislach River near Yanka Kupala Park are one of the main multimedia symbols of Minsk. Opened on July 3, 2020, on Belarus Independence Day, the fountain became the largest in the country. The size of the fountain is impressive: the structure is in the shape of a 90x16 meter rectangle, and 199 water jets, reaching up to 30 meters high, create spectacular visual effects. Among them, you can see a running track, rotating jets, side arcs, a fan, a lily, and other unique water figures. The main feature of the fountain is the ability to broadcast multimedia shows on a water screen. The fountain "plays" to light and musical accompaniment, making the evening performances especially atmospheric. Every day after sunset, from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, visitors can enjoy the show, and on weekends and holidays, the fountains operate from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The project was implemented with the support of the Minsk City Executive Committee and funded by the Sberbank Group, with a cost of about 2.5 million dollars. The structure is also equipped with an automatic submersion system for the winter, which eliminates the need for dismantling during cold weather. In unfavorable weather conditions, the operation of the fountain may be suspended. The fountain has become one of the favorite recreation spots for locals and tourists, especially in the evening when the light and music show begins.
