Polianka Square

2 min. to read

Polianka Square, located between Karl Liebknecht, Karpov, and Rosa Luxemburg streets, is one of the picturesque corners of Minsk. This square was established on April 21, 1979, by the Komsomol members of the Moskovsky District on the site of a former swamp. Since then, it has transformed into a cozy place for citizens of all ages to relax. Modern Polianka Square delights visitors with well-maintained lawns, dense trees, and a variety of birds. The park is carefully looked after: the grass is regularly mowed, new lights are installed, and birdhouses are placed. In winter, a New Year's tree is set up, and festive events are organized, including a New Year's disco. The square also features modern children's playgrounds, a football cage, and comfortable benches, providing a pleasant environment for relaxation and active games. Polianka Square is a wonderful place for family leisure, walks, and active recreation in the heart of Minsk.
