Christmas Fairs in Minsk Start on December 14

Christmas Fairs in Minsk Start on December 14

December 5, 2024,3 min. to read

Starting from December 14, New Year and Christmas fairs will open in Minsk, bringing the festive atmosphere to the city's residents and guests. This was announced by Elena Nagornaya, head of the main department of trade and services of the Minsk City Executive Committee. The fairs will take place in the central and district areas of the city and will last for a whole month, until January 14.

Main Location — Fair near the Palace of Sports

The main Christmas fair in Minsk, as in previous years, will open near the Palace of Sports. It will be open from December 14 to January 14, so everyone will have the opportunity to visit it at their convenience, including during the New Year holidays. The fair at this venue will traditionally become a center of attraction for Minsk residents and tourists, offering unique goods, delicious treats, and, of course, a festive atmosphere.

Fairs in the city's districts

In addition to the central fair, festive trading will be organized in each district of Minsk. New Year trees and light decorations will be set up, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the capital. Specifically, fairs in the districts will start operating on December 25, allowing residents to enjoy holiday offerings right in their neighborhood.

New locations and the participation of "Belarusian Lotteries"

This year, in addition to well-known and beloved spots such as "Pesochitsa" and "Lidbeer Dvor," a new venue will be added — "Best Street", where a Christmas fair will also be held. Special attention should be paid to the large fair organized by "Belarusian Lotteries" near the National Library. This new addition promises to be an important event for both locals and visitors to the capital.

Details about the schedule and locations of the fairs

All details about the locations of the fairs and exact dates will be published on the official website of the Minsk City Executive Committee and the district administration websites no later than December 15. Minsk residents and city guests can expect an eventful program, as well as many photo and entertainment locations for the whole family.
