In Vitebsk, the Tallest Christmas Tree in Europe is Being Installed

In Vitebsk, the Tallest Christmas Tree in Europe is Being Installed

November 24, 2024

A unique project has started in Belarus that promises to amaze not only local residents but all of Europe. In Vitebsk, the assembly of the tallest Christmas tree made from real trees has begun. Its height will reach an impressive 33.5 meters, making it a record-breaking tree for all of Europe.

Unique Structure Made of Living Trees

The creation process of this festive beauty is truly extraordinary. The structure uses small fir trees ranging from one meter in height, collected from various forestry enterprises across Belarus. These trees are carefully secured to one another to create the appearance of a solid, massive tree. Eight experienced specialists are working on the installation, ensuring the reliability and safety of the entire structure.

Decorations and Lights: When Will the Work Be Completed?

The installation of the Christmas tree is expected to be completed by early December. Once the assembly is finished, the tree will be decorated with LED garlands, festive ornaments, and other decorative elements. In the evening, the tree will shine with thousands of lights, creating an atmosphere of magic and joy.

A New Record for Vitebsk and Belarus

This project will not only decorate the city but also become a true source of pride. The tallest Christmas tree in Europe will attract the attention of tourists and residents from other cities in Belarus, turning Vitebsk into the center of festive cheer. In addition to the tree, the city streets will be adorned in December with modern illumination and themed decorations. Once again, Vitebsk proves that it is ready to amaze and delight with its large-scale initiatives. The city not only preserves holiday traditions but also takes them to a new level, setting records of European significance.
