A new recreation area "All for Fishing" in N. Grekova Park on the shore of the Chizhovskoe Reservoir in Minsk is the perfect spot for anglers and nature lovers. The location was opened on Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus in 2024 and has already become popular among locals due to its unique design and comfortable amenities.
The main feature of this area is the special wooden bridges stretching along the shore of the reservoir. These platforms provide convenient conditions for fishermen, allowing them to choose the best spots for fishing. The bridges are made of antiseptic-treated boards on metal supports, ensuring durability and safety. Fishermen are already actively testing the new platforms, especially on weekends when all spots are taken.
In addition to the bridges, the area is decorated with original wooden sculptures. You can see carved figures of fishermen, fish, and mermaids, creating the atmosphere of a fishing village. These sculptures were made by employees of the "Zelenstroy Leninsky District" company, adding a special charm to the place. The central element is a rotunda with a light-green polycarbonate dome, which draws visitors' attention and serves as an excellent photo zone.
The recreation area also includes picnic spots equipped with grills, benches, and tables made of natural wood. It’s an ideal place for outdoor relaxation, where you can cook food and enjoy the view of the reservoir. Fires are allowed only in designated areas, ensuring safety.
Interactive elements in the recreation area add a special charm. For example, on the information boards, you can not only read interesting facts but also play. One of the boards is designed as a puzzle: by moving its parts, visitors assemble an image of a fish swimming among the algae. Another board introduces the inhabitants of the Chizhovskoe Reservoir. In addition to fish, you can find beavers, otters, and even muskrats.
Besides fishing spots, N. Grekova Park offers a variety of areas for active and relaxed recreation. There is the "Malyavki" ecological trail about 3 kilometers long, winding around the peninsula and stretching along the reservoir. Along the trail, there are cozy rest areas with sun loungers and benches, as well as original architectural forms, such as a concrete checkerboard and a field for playing towns.
The park also offers interesting infrastructure for family recreation. On its territory, insect hotels, colorful birdhouses, and tit nests are installed, harmoniously blending into the natural landscape. In addition, you can find unusual benches: one of them is equipped with a bicycle trainer, while another resembles a seesaw.
The "All for Fishing" recreation area is an excellent place for those who want to enjoy nature, spend a relaxing day, and fish. Everything here is designed for visitors to comfortably relax, enjoy the views of the reservoir, have a picnic with friends, or simply unwind with family.
