3 min. to read

Chingiz Aitmatov Park is a natural and harmonious retreat in the heart of Minsk, ideal for relaxation and active leisure. Located along the scenic Slyepyansky Water System embankment, the park serves as a boundary between the Zavodskoy and Leninsky districts and offers unique opportunities for outdoor walks and relaxation.

Main Attractions of the Park:

Embankment and Waterfall. The main feature of the park is the embankment with well-maintained descents to the water, where you can enjoy the tranquility and views of the canal. The highlight is the picturesque waterfall, which attracts both locals and tourists. Fountain and Footbridge. Near the waterfall is an original fountain and a footbridge made of concrete slabs without railings. Green Area and Mound. Venturing into the park’s green area, you can enjoy manicured lawns and leafy trees. There is also a mound with stone steps leading to its top, from which you can enjoy a stunning view of the surroundings. Dog Park. One of the special features of the park is a modern dog park. It is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay for both dogs and their owners: a new fence, gazebo, benches, and trash bins.

Advantages of the Park:

Clean water in the canal allows for watching beavers and ducks, which often become part of the local scenery. Swimming in the canal is strictly prohibited, but sunbathing and fishing are allowed. Convenient conditions for relaxation. The presence of benches and trash cans, along with the absence of bike paths (which may create some inconvenience), makes it an excellent place for walks. Great photo opportunities. Beautiful views of the waterfalls and unique natural forms create perfect conditions for photographs. Chingiz Aitmatov Park is a great place for family outings, running, and walking routes. Take a break from the city hustle and enjoy the beauty of this green corner of Minsk, which will delight you at any time of the year.
