Named after Nadezhda Grekova Park in Minsk, located at the intersection of Rokossovsky Avenue and Malinina Street, is one of the gems of the Lenin District. To the north, it adjoins the Serebryanka neighborhood, and to the south, it borders the Chizhovka Reservoir. The park, formerly known as "Serebryanka," is named in honor of Nadezhda Grekova, Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the BSSR.
The park features a blend of landscaped areas and wild nature. Visitors can find cozy alleys, flower beds, benches, and gazebos. For children, there is a colorful playground with slides and playhouses, while sports enthusiasts can enjoy the "Health Trail" spanning 1200 meters with various fitness equipment.
A notable feature of the park is the St. Andrew's Church, which blends harmoniously with the park's landscape. On the shore of the Chizhovka Reservoir is the "Serebryanka" rowing base, which regularly hosts training sessions and competitions.
Since its renovation in 2003, the park has become even more well-maintained and comfortable for relaxation. The fairground square, open-air stage, decorative drinking fountain, and numerous flower beds make the park attractive to both locals and visitors.
Nadezhda Grekova Park is an ideal spot for family outings, sports activities, and a peaceful retreat into nature. Visitors can enjoy bird songs, fresh air, and picturesque views of the Chizhovka Reservoir.
