Yanka Kupala Park is a cultural and historical gem of Minsk, located in the heart of the city on the right bank of the Svisloch River, near Victory Square. Founded in 1950 and named after the great Belarusian poet Yanka Kupala, the park attracts visitors with its rich history and natural beauty.

The park was established in 1949 on the site of former city buildings and a dump. Originally named to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the BSSR, it was renamed in honor of Yanka Kupala in 1962. The main avenue of the park begins from Independence Avenue and leads to a picturesque bend of the Svisloch River, creating a cozy and tranquil atmosphere in the heart of the city.

A central attraction of the park is the Yanka Kupala monument, erected in 1972 to mark the poet's 90th birthday. The monument has become an important element of national culture and a symbol of the park. Additionally, the park is home to the Yanka Kupala Literary Museum, built on the site of his burned-down home, where the poet lived from 1927 to 1941. The museum holds over 36,000 exhibits, including manuscripts, books, photographs, and personal belongings of the poet.

One of the main natural attractions of the park is the "Wreath" fountain, which symbolizes the folk festival "Kupalle." This fountain is adorned with sculptures of girls releasing wreaths into the water and is a popular spot for relaxation and photos.
