Simon Bolivar Square, located in the Partizansky District of Minsk, is a cozy green corner of the city. This square, which has a triangular shape and covers an area of 2.2 hectares, is situated at the intersection of Zakharova and Pervomaiskaya streets, near the Minsk Instrument Plant. Established in July 2008, the square was named in honor of the National Hero of Venezuela, Simon Bolivar, by the decision of the Minsk City Council of Deputies on June 18, 2008. The ceremonial unveiling of the memorial plaque in honor of Simon Bolivar took place on July 7, 2008. The square is a great place for a lunchtime stroll and relaxing outdoors. Its well-maintained territory is kept clean and orderly, making it a pleasant place to visit. Simon Bolivar Square is not only a memorial site but also a cozy space for walks and relaxation, contributing to a comfortable urban environment.
