Valley of Tales

Valley of Tales

2 min. to read

Valley of Tales is a unique themed recreational area located in the Oktyabrsky district of Minsk, on the grounds of an old football stadium. The project embodies rich Belarusian folklore, turning a stroll into a true fairy-tale adventure for both adults and children. In this magical place, you'll encounter sculptures of fairy-tale characters made from wood and other natural materials. These figures seem to have stepped out of old books, bringing to life stories about forest creatures, dragons, house spirits, and other mythological figures. Each piece of art is unique and created specifically for this recreational area. For children, there are playgrounds where they can run and play, feeling like part of a magical world. Special attention is given to details, from architectural forms to informative stands that tell legends and myths of Belarus. In winter, visitors can enjoy tubing on specially prepared tracks, adding extra fun during the colder months. The Valley of Tales also serves as a wonderful retreat for adults who can escape everyday worries and immerse themselves in a nostalgic atmosphere. It’s a place where everyone can find something to enjoy, whether it's taking beautiful photos against the backdrop of picturesque figures or simply spending time outdoors surrounded by fairy tales. The project was realized with active participation from local residents, making the place even more special for the area. Locals, including craftsman Alexander Lapitsky, contributed to creating original decorative elements like carved benches and chairs, adding atmosphere and coziness to the recreational area. The Valley of Tales is not just a park but a place where dreams come true and fairy-tale stories come to life right before your eyes.
