Parsyuchenko Park

2 min. to read

Parsyuchenko Park on Odintsova Street in Minsk is a cozy natural spot nestled among high-rise buildings, popular with locals. Despite its modest size, the park offers a variety of activities and peaceful relaxation in the fresh air. The park's main feature is a well-maintained pond with ducks and fish, surrounded by five or six benches, perfect for resting. While swimming is prohibited due to water pollution, fishermen often visit the pond hoping for a good catch. A walk around the pond provides tranquility, allowing visitors to feed the ducks and pigeons. In the summer, you can enjoy the cool breeze from the active waterfall, and in the winter, the frozen pond transforms into a natural ice rink for skating and sledding. The park is roughly divided into two zones: The higher part is a small, quiet area with beautiful flower beds and a few benches, making it an ideal place for peaceful relaxation and reading in the fresh air. The lower part features the duck pond, a wooden children's playground, and several benches around the perimeter of the pond. In the heat of summer, the young trees provide shade, and the waterfall is turned on during hot days. Parsyuchenko Park is also suitable for active recreation: you can ride a scooter or bicycle, take a stroll with a stroller, or toss stones into the water. This tranquil corner of nature amidst the urban hustle offers a comfortable place for relaxation, enjoyment of nature, and active time with children.
