In the urban life of Minsk, a long-awaited event took place – the popular street food venue
"Sandbox" officially opened its season on April 24, 2025. Located in its traditional spot in the historic space of the former factory courtyards on Kuibyshev Street, "Sandbox" has already welcomed its first visitors, marking the beginning of the warm season of city entertainment.
Festival atmosphere and gastronomic diversity
Although the official opening celebrations are scheduled for April 25 and 26 (a pre-party and a grand party, respectively), on the first day of operation the venue was already filled with a special atmosphere of spring revival. Visitors did not miss the opportunity to capture moments of joy against the backdrop of "Sandbox"'s iconic features – the famous "Firefighter" food truck and the cult Coca-Cola sign.
This season, "Sandbox"'s gastronomic offerings are showcased by culinary creations from 15 different food trucks and containers. The meal system is organized conveniently – visitors can choose one of two set options: a compact one for 12.90 BYN or a more substantial one for 15 BYN, making the gastronomic experience accessible for various budgets.
Cultural program and season prospects
"Sandbox" traditionally serves not only as a gastronomic space but also as an important cultural venue of the city. The organizers have announced that as the season progresses, visitors can expect a rich program of events:

According to official information, the venue will operate daily from 16:00 to 23:00, and the entire season will last 143 days, filled with summer vibes and various events.
