"Lidbir Dvor" in Minsk Relocates – New Location Coming Soon!

"Lidbir Dvor" in Minsk Relocates – New Location Coming Soon!

February 1,3 min. to read

Popular Minsk street food venue "Lidbir Dvor", a symbol of cozy urban gatherings, has announced its relocation. After five years on Yakub Kolas Street, the project is leaving its usual courtyard due to construction work but promises to retain its unique atmosphere. Where the new location will be and what awaits visitors—read on.

Why is "Lidbir Dvor" changing its address?

The reason for the move is large-scale construction work in the area of the former factory yard, where the venue has been located since 2020. The organizers emphasize that the decision is driven by the desire to continue the tradition of summer evenings and keep the project’s story going. — We are saddened, but "Lidbir Dvor" is not about walls; it’s about people and emotions. Our capital is the atmosphere we have created together with our guests. We will take it with us, — the team notes.

What will remain unchanged?

Project representatives assure:
  • The container houses will move to the new location;
  • All tenants (street food stalls, bars) will continue their work;
  • The event concept, including summer concerts and festivals, will be preserved;
  • The inner courtyard will be part of the new location, possibly in an updated format.
— We plan to start the season at the end of April or by May 9. In 2021, we built the courtyard from scratch in two months—this time, the task is easier, — shares a team representative.

Where is the project relocating?

The exact address remains a secret for now, but it is known that the new venue will be located just a few minutes' walk from the previous location, near the Yakub Kolas metro station. This will make it easy for guests to find the refreshed space. — Mystery is part of our style. Let’s just say: it will be the same intimate courtyard but with more creative opportunities. We want to bring to life ideas we’ve been nurturing for a long time, — the organizers add.

Anniversary at the new location

2025 will be a special year for "Lidbir Dvor": the project will celebrate its 5th anniversary in the new location. The team promises that the celebration will unite old friends and new guests, with the highlight of the season being an updated format for evening events. Conclusion: The relocation is not an end but a new chapter. The beloved container houses, delicious food, and heartfelt gatherings will remain, while fresh design and ideas will give the venue a new impulse. Stay tuned for announcements to be the first to know the address and opening date!
