Hotel "Europa" in Minsk is the embodiment of hospitality and luxury traditions, with a history spanning nearly two centuries. Located in the heart of the capital, near the City Hall, it beautifully combines the atmosphere of past eras with modern conveniences, offering guests a unique living experience. The history of "Europa" began in the mid-19th century when a hotel was built at the intersection of Upper Market (now Freedom Square) and Governor Street (today Lenin Street) by the wealthy merchant family of Polyakov. After a fire in 1884, the hotel was reconstructed and given its famous name, "Europa." Between 1906 and 1908, the building was remodeled in the Art Nouveau style, becoming the largest civil structure in pre-revolutionary Minsk with 130 rooms, an elevator, and luxurious amenities rare at the time, including central heating, baths, and telephones. During World War II, the building was destroyed, and only in 2007 did the "Europa" hotel reopen its doors, becoming the first five-star hotel in Belarus. The restored building retained its historic look, enriched with contemporary design solutions. Currently, the hotel offers 67 spacious rooms in various categories, including a Presidential Suite, business rooms, and standard apartments. Each room includes air conditioning, a minibar, interactive TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and 24-hour room service for food and drinks. For relaxation and wellness, the lower level features a fitness center with a gym, sauna, pool, and jacuzzi. Spacious conference and meeting rooms accommodate up to 70 and 25 people, allowing for events of any format. The hotel's restaurant and bars offer guests unique dishes and impeccable service, with a refined interior creating a cozy atmosphere for both celebrations and business meetings. Hotel "Europa" is renowned for its exceptional intimacy. From the rooms, guests can enjoy views of Minsk's historic center: Freedom Square, the Cathedral, and the Svisloch River. The hotel's location allows guests to enjoy the city's historic attractions while offering the comfort of a corner distant from the capital's hustle and bustle.
