2 min. to read

Tivali Park in Minsk is a cozy green spot in the Frunzensky District, covering about 46 hectares. Located in a bustling part of the city, the park offers residents and visitors excellent opportunities for relaxation and active leisure. The park's history dates back to 1852, when apothecary Theophil Goldberg built an estate here and opened a summer theater and restaurant, naming the place "Tivali" after a popular park in Copenhagen. Today, Tivali Park blends elements of historical heritage with modern amenities. In 2007, the park was officially given its current name, and from 2008 to 2015, it underwent a major renovation, updating the central alleys and adding new infrastructure. Tivali Park offers a variety of entertainment options for the whole family. There are modern children's playgrounds, workout areas, and health trails. Pavilions with barbecues make the park an ideal spot for outdoor picnics. Along the paths, there are benches, lighting, and trash bins, creating a comfortable environment for walks. The park also features a pond that attracts birds and adds to the picturesque atmosphere. It frequently hosts festivals and other cultural events, drawing visitors of all ages. Thanks to its proximity to the metro and public transport stops, Tivali Park is convenient to visit. The well-maintained grounds and diverse infrastructure make it one of the favorite places for relaxation among Minsk residents and city guests.
